Cookies

Last updated: 02/10/2026

Cookies are small files saved on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies, such as local storage. In this section, "cookies" covers all of them.

How we ask for your permission
When you first visit, we ask which optional cookies you allow. Optional cookies stay off until you choose, and rejecting them is as easy as accepting them. Cookies that are necessary for the site to work do not need your permission, as the law allows.

Changing your mind
You can change your choice at any time with the cookie button in the corner of the screen. If you turn a category off, we stop using it and delete its cookies from your browser. We remember your choice for 12 months, then ask again, or sooner if we start using cookies for something new.

The cookies we use

Necessary (always on):
- XSRF-TOKEN, hs, TS* (Wix): security. Session.
- svSession (Wix): security and core site function. 12 months.
- consent-policy (Wix) and site_cookie_consent (us): remember your cookie choice. 12 months.

Functional (only with your permission): [none at present]

Analytics (only with your permission):
- _ga, _ga_* (Google Analytics): counts visitors and visits. 13 months. [Delete if you do not use Google Analytics.]

Advertisement (only with your permission):
- _fbp (Meta Pixel): delivers and measures adverts. 3 months. [Delete if you do not use Meta Pixel.]

Companies we work with
- Wix.com, which hosts our website and online shop.
- [Google, for analytics. How Google uses data: https://business.safety.google/privacy/]
- [Meta (Facebook and Instagram), for advertising.]

These companies may process data outside the UK under their own safeguards. See their privacy policies for details.

Our social media pages
We have pages on [Facebook / Instagram / other]. If you visit them, those platforms use their own cookies under their own privacy policies, which our cookie settings cannot control.

Records of your choice
To show that we have your consent, we keep a record of each cookie choice: a random consent ID, the date, the categories chosen and the banner version. It does not include your name, email or IP address. We keep these records for up to two years, then delete them. You can see your consent ID at the bottom of the cookie settings panel.

Anonymous visit statistics

We count visits to see how many people use our site, which pages are popular and how people find us. We use Wix Analytics, which works only on our behalf as our data processor, and our own counter. The results are totals that do not identify you. UK law allows this without consent. You can turn it off at any time with the cookie button, under “Anonymous visit statistics.

Your rights
You have rights under UK data protection law, including to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to its use. To use any of these rights, email info@ahdesignds.com.

Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handle your personal data, please email info@ahdesignds.com with "Data protection complaint" in the subject. We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days, look into it, keep you updated and tell you the outcome. If you are still unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
